T&AVR Efficiency Medal EIIR HACThe T&AVR (HAC) Efficiency Medal, awarded from 1969 when the title Territorial and Army Volunteer Reserve was adopted, this medal was replaced in 1982 when the title Territorial was resumed. The qualifying period of 12 years remained the same.

The lower limb of the medal is engraved with the year of issue and subsequent awards are denoted by adding a 2nd award bar to the ribbon

Until 1901 the medal's obverse contained an image of a trophy of arms with the Royal Arms in an oval shield in the centre while the reverse side contained the inscription "For Long Service and Good Conduct"
