Folding Hill Estate Ballasalla Pinot Noir 2023From their 4ha of organic vineyards in Central Otago Folding Hill craft utterly sublime Pinot Noir. The warmth of the Bendigo subregion and meticulous work in the vineyard gives the wines a lovely core of ripe red fruit. Vibrant aromas of red cherry, raspberry, and subtle floral notes. The palate is smooth and juicy, with fine tannins, lively acidity, and a touch of spice, leading to a silky, elegant finish. Fresh, approachable, and very drinkable.

On the nose you find apricot and pear

made in the same style as Sauternes

but we’re also holding 500 back for a zero dosage release in a couple of year’s time
