the wine is separated from its skins and preserved for one month in clay and ceramic amphorae

Sweet tangerine orange skin with hints of lemon

along with a well-adjusted acidity

including fennel and aniseed from the nearby Fynbos

with the characteristic dry bite of good Amarone

The resulting wine is blended and bottled

and fresh citrus acidity on the finish

grapefruit and summer sun warmed shale

followed by a creamy lemon character

Although the keynotes are refinement and poise
