Description
Size 42 (US Men's 8.5/9) Gresvig of Oslo 1960s ALL LEATHER Cross-Country Ski Boots - New Old Stock - New New NewNever worn new old stock meaning new, but OLD! Gresvig of Oslo made ski equipment for much of the 20th century, including cable style bindings and boots such as these. Let's deconstruct the label. "Langrenn" means cross country skiing, but without any modifier such as "Tur" alone it normally means "racing". Langrenn skis were usually the lightest ones sold by a maker in the wood ski days. "Stvel" just means boot. Narvet sportslr is grained leather.
Weight (pair): 4624gm w/ bindings
This example has never been used
These are official
The pair will look great on display
Even today
but I doubt this model got raced much
balsa core skis were the lightest (and most fragile
These are old skis
favoured by racers
and its performance in certain snow conditions
so if you "yard saled" during a run eventually the sideways force would snap the heel out of the back
Weight (pair): 390gm
