2023, Domaine Weinbach, Pinot Gris, 'Clos des Capucins'From the vineyard directly in front of the domaine the Clos des Capucins. The 2023 Pinot Gris is produced in a nice tight and juicy style, with a gentle stone fruit and lightly honeyed finish. Really quite an acid driven example of an ostensibly "entry level" Pinot Gris, it is bone dry with just a hint of caress making it an excellent food pairing to a whole range of poultry based dishes, for example.
